Hi everyone!!
I hope you all had a happy Thanksgiving! I love this time of year because I get to spend so much time with family. On the other hand I also hate it because school gets so stressful with final projects and exams, which brings me to explain why this post is happening so late in the month. I am still subscribed to ipsy, it has just been a very busy month so I’m posting a bit late.
Also, as you may have noticed I changed the layout of my blog a bit! My other theme was a bit too summery so I decided to switch it up. Let me know what you think!
Anyways, the theme of this month’s bag is “Beauty Blast”. The bag was such a cute galaxy theme and I’m totally in love with it! Here is a look at what was in my bag this month:
Jelly Pong Pong Liquid Gossamer
This product is a water-based liquid highlight. I’ve never used one of these before but the color is gorgeous. I have a swatch that I’ll post towards the end but the glow is pretty serious! The product is a bit watery but so far I’m a fan. It was nice of them to include something different like a highlight. This product full sized retails for $22.95.
Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara
Yas ipsy yassss! I love trying out different mascaras so when I saw this in my bag I was super excited. I have heard so many great things about this mascara and although I haven’t used it yet, I’m confident I will love it. This mascara retails full sized for $20.
Hey Honey Come Clean: Propolis & Minerals Facial Scrub
I have never heard of this brand before so like usual, I’m exited to try it out. The scrub smells delicious and seems really gentle on the skin. I couldn’t find this product alone on the website but it comes in a package with another product for $52.
Absolute New York Nano Liner
Felt tip liners are my favorite. They are so easy to work with especially for beginners like myself. This is a full sized fine liner in black. The tip is very fine so it is easy to work with and fix any mistakes. The color dries very black. Another great pick for ipsy! This product retails for $9.99.
tre’Stique Mini Matte Lip Crayon
A girl can never have too many lip products! I think this is the cutest packaging ever! I got the shade Chile Red. It’s a very bright red color. A full sized of these crayons goes for $28.00.
Overall, I loved this bag! The theme was perfect and the products will all get great use. I really think this month’s bag was well worth the value. Here are the swatches of the highlight, eyeliner, and lip crayon (respectively).
