I hope all my U.S. followers had a very Happy 4th! Now, in my last ipsy bag post I believe I said I was thinking about signing up for Boxycharm.. well I did! I signed up just 2 weeks ago so I figured that I’d be getting the July box first but they actually sent me the June! I was really surprised because usually you have to be early in the month to get a subscription but I was lucky I guess!
Just last week I received my first Boxycharm box and I can’t wait to share. For those of you who don’t know, Boxycharm is a monthly beauty subscription box similar to ipsy, Birchbox, and others. Boxycharm is $21 per month but instead of getting sample sizes you get 4-5 full sized beauty products. Yes please! I signed up for 3 months and so far I have no regrets!
The theme of this month’s box is “Girls Just Wanna Have Sun”. So cute!! When I opened the box it looked just like the photo above. I really like how Boxycharm comes with a very detailed description card. It has all the product names and their prices which really shows the value of the box to the subscriber. I’ve pictured the description card below. Based on that, this month’s box is worth over $100!
I know you all love a good deal but now let’s get to what’s inside. I received 5 products in the June box… and I love every single one.
The first thing that caught my eye was a pressed powder from Ofra Cosmetics. Ofra is a brand I discovered through YouTube and have really fallen in love with. This powder is for oil control so I think it will be great for my T zone on those hot humid days! As the card states this powder is almost $40 but check your favorite YouTuber’s Channel for an affiliate code! I always use Kathleen30 for 30% off!
I also received a loose powder in the box from the brand Cougar Beauty. It is a golden toned face and body shimmer. It looks really yellow at first glance but it blends out like a dream!
What else did I get, you ask? I got this gorgeous blue nail polish from LVX. I love painting my nails but hate buying my own polish so you could say I’m a happy camper. It was the next product that really got me excited though. In the box came the Girlactik Precise Eyeliner Marker!! This alone is $20. Eyeliner is always such a struggle for me so I rarely wear it but I’ve heard great things about this liner and the marker-like packaging is very user friendly.
Lastly, I got these face masks from the brand Farmacy. Three came in this package. I already know I’m going to pamper myself with these on my plane ride to Greece next week! I’ll let you guys know how I like them.
Just based on one box I give Boxycharm a 5/5. You can’t beat this deal with a stick! I may even cancel my ipsy subscription…what do you think?
