ipsy Glam Bag | Jan 2016

It’s here! The first ipsy bag of 2016 lived up to all expectations. For those of you who don’t know, ipsy is a monthly beauty subscription. Every month ipsy sends five deluxe samples or even full-sized products to your door for just $10. It’s one of the least expensive beauty subscriptions and you get a makeup bag every month with it! So far I’m a huge fan. The theme of this months bag is “all eyes on you”. All products but one are eye products of some sort. The bag itself is one of my favorites so far. Let’s get into it!

tucker ashley Advanced Peptide Eye Complex

I’ve never received an eye cream and am in need of one so I was pleased to find this in my bag. This product claims to target dark circles, fight puffiness, ease fine lines, and moisturize. Full sized, this product retails for $ 29.95.

Promise Organic Ultra Moisturizing Argan Creme Facial Lotion

I’m not going to lie I’m getting sick of getting these moisturizers every month and they’re starting to pile up in my drawer. I’ll still give this one a try though! You can find this at CVS for $14.99.

J.Cat Beauty Blinkle Shimmer Eyeshadow in Tangerine Light

This shadow scared me at first because it looks like straight glitter. When I swatched it there was a beautiful sheen and it looked beautiful. While it watched nicely, I’m afraid the shadow will require a lot of build up on the lid. This shadow will only run you about $4.99.

theBalm Cosmetics Mr. Write (Now) in Jack B. Bronze

I love love love theBalm! You can never have too many eyeliners and this one is a gorgeous bronze. Not to mention, it is also a full-sized product (yay!). This eyeliner alone is $17 so I’d say the bag this month was worth the money!

PEEK Beauty expresso Natural Stain Brow Powder

This is amongst the cutest things I’ve ever seen. I could not even figure out what this was at first but when I finally opened the tin-like packaging I was pleased to find a brow powder. This shade is really nice and I’m excited to try this!
