Hi loves!
I recently have been getting back into drugstore makeup. I feel like we get so lost in all the luxurious new products and forget that drugstore makeup can be just as good for a fraction of the price! I purchased all of these products at Walmart so they were very affordable. I haven’t got a chance to use them all but I thought I’d share what I picked up!
I purchased two products from the brand e.l.f. Cosmetics. This is such an amazing drugstore brand. Most of the products are range from $1-$10 and some of them are really great. I even have a brand favorites post you can check out here.
My newest edition to the collection is the ultimate blending brush. I’ve been using this to apply my foundation or BB Cream and I love it! It’s so soft and only $6. You can’t beat that! The second e.l.f. product I got is the Contour Palette. I love their blush palettes so I figured I would try this out as well. If any of you have this let me know how you like it in the comments!
I also got two products from Milani Cosmetics. I’ve heard amazing things about Milani products but I’ve never actually purchased anything. The first thing I got is the Baked Blush in the shade Luminoso. This is a peachy blush with a gold sheen and it is absolutely stunning. This blush screams summer glow.
The Conceal & Perfect 2 in 1 Foundation and Concealer has been all the rage lately. If you’re looking to get this foundation definitely get a shade lighter than normal because it runs pretty dark. I got the shade 04 Medium Beige and its pretty dark for me at the moment. I’m keeping this shade though because it will make a great match for me when I’m tan!
I’ve been looking for a good setting powder and have heard really good things about Maybelline’s Fit Me line so I decided to purchase! I got the shade 120 Classic Ivory because I’ll most likely be using it to highlight the under eye area.
Finally, I got a BB Cream by Rimmel. I have the Radiance formula in the shade Light and I love it but sometimes I want to be bit more natural and subtle so I got this original one in Light/Medium. I love it because I’ve been at the beach for a few days and needed something lightweight with SPF. This gives a natural finish that I have been loving! I believe it was only $5-$6 as well so that’s a major plus!
I’m very pleased with this drug store haul and have been loving everything so far! This stuff made me fall in love with the drug store all over again!
Thanks for reading!
