I finally received my ipsy bag for the month! As you may know I’m in Greece so I wasn’t exactly sure if I’d get my bag before I left, and I didn’t. The good news is my sister came a week later than me so I made her lug all my subscriptions boxes with her haha! That’s what sisters are for though, right?
Anyways, the theme of July’s Glam Bag is “Hot Summer Nights”. The bag is an iridecent silver with pink and white umbrellas…or beach balls. Either way it is super cute and summery! There are five products featured per usual so let’s jump right in! (Side note the background of the pictures are different than normal because I took them at the beach…seemed appropriate.)
Too Faced Replenishing Face Primer
Guys, I have been wanting to try this for so long. I hear it’s great for dry skin and really helps your makeup last. What more can a girl ask for? This is a sample/travel size but the full product retails for $32.00 which I wasn’t willing to go out buy without trying first. Delectable Lemon & Cream Ultra Nourishing Hand Cream by Cake Beauty
While usually I would sigh at another hand cream I really do enjoy this one. Lemon is one of my favorite scents and this brand is also very natural. I’m always suffering from dryness on my hands and feet so I’ve been keeping this right next to my bed. It smells phenomenal. It came full sized and retails for $12. I found out about Cake Beauty through ipsy and have been a fan so far. According to the website the lotion is “Cruelty-free, Vegan, Natural ingredient-drive, Gluten-free, GMO-free, Paraben-free, and Phthalate-free” so if you’re looking for anything natural start here.
Vasanti Cosmetics Professional Contour Eyeshadow Brush
Vasanti is another brand I’ve learned about through ipsy. I’ve yet to receive any beauty tools from them until now. This month I was sent a synthetic crease brush. The brush is full sized. Ipsy has a 30% off code right now for the Vasanti website. If you’re interested use the code “VasantiIpsy30“.
TheBalm Cosmetics Meet Matt(e) Trimony Eyeshadow in Matt Kumar
I love that products from TheBalm are included in ipsy bags. It’s such an amazing brand and can be hard to get your hands on. This matte burgundy color is called Matt Kumar and is found in the Meet Matt(e) Trimony palette. It’s a great, wearable red eyeshadow which seems rare. This blends like a dream in the crease. I do already own the palette so I know I love the shadow. Maybe I can feature this in a future giveaway!
Ofra Cosmetics Lipliner in Maya
Okay so this is the 3rd full sized product of this month’s bag which I think is awesome! It’s an almost cranberry red lipliner. I like the redish theme with the eyeshadow and liner. It definitely reminds me of summer nights. I have swatches below of both Matt Kumar (above) and Maya (below). Loving them! Ofra has many other shades as well on their website.
The July Glam Bag was so good! There were many high end brands and really useful products. I’m not sure how much longer I’ll be receiving ipsy as my collection is getting a bit out of hand. What do you guys think? How was your bag this month? Let’s chat in the comments!
