March Favorites | 2016

Hi everyone!

The months are just flying by! March has come and gone and I have a pretty good list of my favorite products of the month! I have tried a bunch of new things recently and I’m so excited to share them. Let’s get into it!

I’ll begin with my favorite beauty products! This month I picked up the Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation. I snagged this at Macy’s during a special and got a make-up bag full of goodies! I got shade matched there and the girl was so nice! I’ve worn the foundation about 5 times but I can tell that I love it. It’s so long wearing and makes my skin look amazing. It does dry very quickly though so I have to apply it in sections and blend quickly.

Next, thanks to Ulta’s 21 Days of Beauty I picked up the Bye Bye Pores It Cosmetics Loose Translucent Powder for $11! This powder has done wonders for me. It leaves my under eyes creaseless and skin feeling so soft.

Continuing with face products, I tried out the Physician’s Formula Butter Bronzer in Light Bronze. I will definitely need the darker shade when I’m tan but for now this is perfect for my fair skin. It does have a really strong scent, but it doesn’t bother me at all. It actually smells really delicious and summery.

This next product is my absolute favorite of the month! It’s the Josie Maran Argan Enlightenment Illuminizing Wand. I received this in last month’s ipsy bag and have been using it non stop. It’s a cream highlight and I can’t get enough. I’m wearing it in the picture below. #Highlightonfleek.

Moving onto eye products, I have been loving the Benefit Roller Lash Mascara. It leaves my eyelashes curly and gives them a nice thickness. It lengthens my lashes as well. I love combining it with a volumizing mascara for the perfect look.

The NYX Micro Brow Pencil is all I’ve used on my brows this month. I’m a huge fan of the Brow Wiz but for half the price the NYX version is a complete dupe. The NYX pencil requires a bit more pressure but is just as good in my opinion. If you haven’t tried this yet you need to!

To finish up my beauty favorites, I saved the best for last: lip products! Lipsticks are easily my favorite beauty item. I have two favorites this month and they’re both from Colourpop. Colourpop is killing the game right now! They just launched their Ultra Satin Lips and they are incredible. My favorite shade is Magic Wand. It is really long lasting but is not transfer proof. It’s a perfect everyday nude though and I love it

My other favorite lip product of the month is the Colourpop Lippie Stix in Cookie. This is a matte finish. Cookie is an everyday pinky nude. It’s pictured below. I love these lippies as they are so long-lasting and comfortable on the lips.

Moving beyond beauty I wanted to mention two other favorites for this month. My favorite book of the month is #GirlBoss. It’s an awesome read for anyone really but women aspiring in business especially. It’s written by the creator and owner of Nasty Gal. She has an amazing story to tell and everyone can take something away from this book!

Finally, I wanted to include my favorite candle of the month. I have been burning Crisp Morning Air by Yankee Candle. It is so fitting with the season and it’s really simple and refreshing.
