It’s my birthday!!!!!!! I’ve been trying so hard to write a blog post for about a month now but I always get about half way done and quit because I feel like it’s not worthy of posting, or some other excuse. Today is a new day! It’s my birthday! I figured what a better time to start blogging again?! So here we go! (sidetone: while I’m writing this on my birthday it will probably not be posted for a few days)

Today I’m 24 years old, so crazy! This year I celebrated my birthday in NYC with my favorite people, my boyfriend and best friend. We went shopping and ate tons of food and I want to share it all with you.

We of course had to go see the Christmas Tree in Rockefeller Center because it’s just too amazing not to. We started and ended our day here. The city completely transforms at night.

There was also a lot of food. I originally wanted a nice brunch but I saw the burgers at Juniors and I couldn’t resist. So I added a mimosa, that counts as brunch, right?

After brunch we walked through the city. We hit Times Square for a quick picture and some coffee. No matter how many times I walk through Times Square my breath is always taken away. There’s something about the vibe that just lights a fire in me. I love the people, the lights, the hustle… I love it all!

Next we did some shopping, my favorite! We went to Macy’s and my boyfriend spoiled me with an early birthday gift!!

It wouldn’t be my birthday without cannolis so we took a pit stop in Italy to get the best ones! This shop has hundreds of cannolis to choose from! I was in heaven. I got an entire flight of cannolis. Best. Birthday. Ever.

Before the night ended we saw the lights at Saks 5th Avenue. They were so breathtaking!

And then we ate again… But this time was extra special. We celebrated my birthday dinner in Astoria, Queens at a delicious Greek restaurant. I ate way too much, but I have zero regrets. Being there made me think of summer and all the great food and great times. I had my favorite Greek dish, pasticio, a Greek lasagna. It was to die for!!

And that ended our trip! It was just one day but I had a blast and am so thankful I got to spend the day with my two favorite people!

It feels so good to finally have something to post about and actually get it out to you guys. I hope you enjoyed! As always, thanks for reading!
