Well hello there! Long time, no talk.
I’ve had the urge to write a blog post lately (strange I know) and I thought what a better time to re-introduce myself. For those of you who have been around for a while, a lot has changed. For those of you who are new here, welcome!
I started this blog back in 2015 to share my passion for makeup, beauty, and fashion. I use those terms very, very loosely as I am no expert in any of them. Over time, the blog expanded into topics like student life, professionalism, lifestyle, and more. This blog is a place for me to come and share my thoughts on whatever I feel like talking about.
Currently, I am in my final year of law school. My life is much different than it was when I started blogging. For example, when I started blogging I was living in a tiny dorm room with a roommate. Now, I’m living with my significant other and our three pets in our own home. I used to get ready every single day (full face of make-up), and now I wear makeup on quite rare occasions. (Mind you, we’re also in a pandemic which means I barely get ready at all quite frankly.) Even though I’m not wearing make-up often, I do still have a huge passion for all things beauty. For a while, I thought that because I wasn’t wearing make-up, I didn’t have anything to write about, hence the few and far between blog posts. However, I am feeling the urge to create again and realize that there are tons of things I can write about!
So here’s a little bit about me now, as an (almost) twenty-six-year-old woman. As I mentioned, I’m heading into my final semester of law school. It’s been quite the ride. I work for a small law firm in my home town, and occasionally help out at my parents’ restaurant. I absolutely love to travel, which I haven’t done much of lately (thanks Covid). I have the world’s cutest American Bully puppy, Leo. I also have a tortoise (Franklin) and a hedgehog (Zara). I love makeup and fashion, but you’ll mainly find me bare-faced in leggings and an oversized sweater. If you give me a good book and a cup of coffee I’ll be the happiest girl in the world.
I have a bunch of blog post ideas and I am so excited to re-start my blogging journey. I look forward to sharing ideas, trips, goals, and more with you all!
